I. God Loves you and offers a sovereign plan for your life.
God's Love
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
God's Plan
"...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
"...I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more
abundantly." (John 10:10c)
II. Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and
experience God's love and plan for his life.
Man is sinful
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)
Man is separated
"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a)
"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23a)
III. Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know
and experience God's love and plan for your life.
He Died in Our Place

He is the Only Way to God

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes
to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)
IV. We must personally receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; then we can know
and experience God's love and plan for your lives.
We must Receive Christ through Faith
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is
the gift of God not of works..." (Eph 2:8-9)
We Receive Christ through Personal Invitation "...for all things that I
heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose
Me, but I chose you..." (John 15:15C-16a)
You can receive Christ by faith right now through a prayer of faith. God alone
knows your heart and is more concerned with your heart then the words of
your prayer... The following is a suggested prayer:
Our Father, I need You. Thank you for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to the cross to die for my sins. I receive now Jesus into my heart as Lord and Savior. Thank you for forgiving my many sins and subsequently giving me eternal life. I surrender complete control of my life to you. Make me the kind of person you would have me to be...in Jesus name I pray. Amen
