CHRIST CONNECTION
MINISTRY LEADER: Minister James Anderson
The Christ Connection ministry is designed to disciple new converts/members in their walk with Christ.. Christ’s mandate is to make disciples and teach them; thus our attempt to follow that mandate begins with seeking those who are lost by getting the message of Christ’s salvation out to individuals through track distribution. Our job is to get the Word out to them, their response is between them and the Holy Spirit.
When a new member joins Olivet, the Christ Connection begins their educational connection with our Church Connection Class and Christ Connect Classes. Church Connection is our new member orientation class that is offered the first Sunday of every month. This class gives the new member the history, disciplines, and doctrines of their new church home as well as learning opportunities through biblical studies. The Christ Connect Classes are offered the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays using the acronym C.H.R.I.S.T. as its format.
